Ordering details and charges
Premium Range orders of multiples of 12 are delivered Free of Charge (FOC). This included mixed cartons, so you can have different types of wine as long as it’s in a multiple of 12. If a customer was to order 18 Premium, the first 12 bottles would be sent FOC and the additional 6 bottles would be subject to our usual delivery fee.
The Riverblock, House 2 litre wines or orders of Premium range that do not meet the above FOC requirements, are charged at standard shipping and packaging fee applicable to the delivery address postcode
The Total number of House Wines ordered must be a multiple of 6 (ie 6, 12, 18 etc). A customer is able to order 3 different House wines as long as the total number of wines is a multiple of 6.
To find out how much the freight cost will be to deliver to your postcode, you can use the shipping calculator at checkout, remember you must have items in your cart to access this calculator. Alternatively, you can view our freights costs table.
FAQs
What happens after I pay for my order?
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details (provided you have provided us with a valid email address).
We will then attempt to deliver your order via our courier. Depending on your location within Australia, the delivery time will vary between 2-15 days depending on how remote the delivery address is. In outlying, flood-affected areas or during heat waves, the delivery may take a little longer.
When will my order be delivered?
Wine is normally delivered from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Most orders will be delivered to your door, however in rural or remote areas the delivery will be left at the nearest Australia Post office or freight depot.
What happens if I’m not home when my wine is delivered?
A signature is required on all of our wine deliveries. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery the courier will leave a note for later collection by you from the nearest local Post Office.
The person collecting the wines from the Post Office must be 18 years or over and be able to present identification corresponding to the name of the consignee.
If the order is not collected within 10 working days, it will be returned to Pinelli Estate Wines and no refund will be available.
Who can accept my delivery?
Pinelli Estate Wines will not deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID.
If the recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
What happens if I enter the wrong address?
Please check your order carefully before submitting. Pinelli Estate Wines cannot be held responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers. If the address is incorrect and the delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase. If the address is incorrect and/or the delivery is refused or unable to be completed, then the order will be returned to our distribution centre and additional handling costs plus freight charges will be applied to a request for re-delivery.
If the address is incorrect and the delivery is refused or unable to be completed and the customer chooses no re-delivery then a handling charge and all applicable freight charges will be deducted from any refund made.
To avoid these costs, we recommend that you double check your address details to ensure that all information provided is correct and in full.
Should you realise that you provided the wrong address just after ordering, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to resolve the situation.
